Ibogaine OASAS

• Bill A6210 (Weprin)/S6180 (Fernandez): Requires the office of addiction services and supports to encourage, aid, and facilitate clinical research into the use of ibogaine in drug treatment (Opioids, Methamphetamines, Cocaine)

 

• Bill S8807 (Ashby): Directs the commissioner of health, in conjunction with the commissioners of mental health and veterans' services, to conduct a study on the use of ibogaine as a treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder, and the increasing rate of PTSD diagnoses in veterans and first responders.

Psilocybin

• Bill A.10375 (Paulin) Allows the growth, cultivation, and regulated adult use of psilocybin for the treatment of certain health conditions; provides for the certification of support service providers and the licensure of cultivators.

• Bill  A.3581(Burke)/S.3520 (Fernandez) would create a therapeutic access program, where New Yorkers will be able to use psilocybin for a wide range of conditions, overseen by trained experts.

• Bill A.8349A (Burke) would establish the psilocybin assisted therapy pilot program for veterans and first responders

Decriminalization of Psychedelics

• Bill A.114 (Rosenthal) would decriminalize possessing/using, growing/cultivating, or gifting/sharing naturally occurring psychedelics.
